Progress Is Guaranteed The Moment You Commit Your Life Into The Hands Of God

“He must increase, but I must decrease.”
John 3:30 (KJV)

AUGUST 6 - Like a careless match setting a house wildly aflame, ultimately rendering it into nothing but a useless pile of rubble, it is only a matter of time before we see those who have yet to commit their life to God cry out for help. Although they may have all the worldly possessions one could want, in reality, their life is little more than a brittle heap of scorched ash.

God always begins His strategic work on the inside before He ever manifests the final product on the outside. True progress is when one commits his or her life and plans to the Lord, allowing Him to exclusively lead. And as soon as you commit your work to the Lord, somehow through Him, your plans begin to favorably succeed.

Choose today to give God not part, but your entire life. He deserves it, doesn’t He? God desires to make you great; all He requests is your heartfelt compliance! John the Baptist said (and we must do the same), “I must decrease and He must increase.” That means the more we pursue God, the less we desire the pleasurable
things this world offers, thereby allowing the progression of His will to be accomplished.

Father, I choose to decrease so Jesus may increase in my life.

Progress In Life Is Most Often Determined By How One Responds To Failure

“Peter said, ‘I swear by God, I don’t know the man.’ And immediately the rooster crowed.”
Matthew 26:74 (NLT)

“Then Peter stepped forward with the eleven other apostles and shouted to the crowd, ‘Listen carefully, all of you, fellow Jews and residents of Jerusalem! Make no mistake about this.’”
Acts 2:14 (NLT)

MAY 22 - One of the things I enjoy most about the Word of God is the fact that God customarily uses men and women exactly like you and me. In God’s Word are numerous accounts of great men and women who failed, made mistakes here and there, but tenaciously refused to quit and give up. Joseph, the husband of Jesus’ mother, Mary, almost failed, thinking of leaving Mary upon discovering that she was about to have a child. However, following a divine visitation, Joseph passionately pushed through his nagging doubts, refusing to yield to impending failure of what God desired for him to accomplish.

Proverbs tells us, “Though a righteous man falls seven times, he gets back up.” I have a question for you – how are you going to respond the next time you fail? The reason I ask is because you have a strategic choice in the matter, just as Joseph did. See, we make far too many hasty, unwise decisions during the ardent heat of the battle. Instead, we must make the uncompromising decision today how we are going to respond to life’s setbacks.

Our progress only continues if we steadily refuse to allow failure to hold us down. Remember, God does not call the perfect; He calls the willing and obedient.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I am not a failure and I refuse to allow life’s setbacks to hold me down. I do not quit! I diligently push through troubles of tomorrow. I am perfect in Christ.

Future Progress Is Destroyed By Giving In To The Pressure Of Instant Gratification

“He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, ‘O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.’”
Matthew 26:39 (NKJV)

APRIL 22 - The refreshing sight of the robin…the invigorating scent of newly burgeoning trees…the friendly honking of white-necked Canadian geese—these are some of the luscious wonders of spring. What would happen if the world’s farmers decided to relax during this season of growth, taking walks in the woods instead of planting seeds? No doubt, disaster in the fields would ultimately occur! Everything in God’s realm is methodically performed in seasons. There is an expressed season of sowing seed, and a subsequent season of reaping the harvest.

However, because the harvest may take some time to manifest, we don’t always notice the cause and effect connection between the seed we sowed years ago, and the negative consequences we currently reap. We must take the present and sow it as a seed expecting to receive a great future. But why do so many squander their time today, while idealistically expecting a great future tomorrow? It is because their belief system is self-deceiving. The truth is: we reap only what we sow.

At age 12, Moshe Dayan stood sentry duty in his struggling village of Nahalal, where marauding bands of Bedouins routinely attacked. In less than two years time, he became a member of Haganah, a Jewish defense militia. Young Dayan sowed the seeds for one of the most illustrious military careers in modern history. Please consider: What are you sowing today? Where does your time go? Where is your focus directed? The answers to these questions give you a clear idea of your future.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I refuse to worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow takes care of itself. I look at my today as seed I sow to create the future I desire.

Your Pathway To A Miracle -CD

With comprehensive Biblical accuracy, Dr. Thompson refutes those who say the dispensation of miracles is over, and he gives irrefutable evidence that God is still in the miracle-working business!

God’s Word says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Faith will leap within you as you hear moving interpretations of Jesus’ performing miracle after miracle – from the restoration of sight to blind Bartimaeus, to the dramatic healing of the woman with the issue of blood.

God has a miracle for you! Build up your faith with this powerful word, and then reach out and receive it!

Every Mistake In Life Is A Steppingstone Laid Down Upon The Pathway Of Progress

“They may trip seven times, but each time they will rise again. But one calamity is enough to lay the wicked low.”
Proverbs 24:16 (NLT)

APRIL 13 - The moment we make a mistake, Satan shows up, cheering our inevitable self-destruction. Ridicule, heart-pounding fear, nerve-shattering doubt, worry, and depression blare as loudly as police sirens inside our ears, but those of us who persevere ultimately win out. Our refusal to concede defeat separates us from the crowd of the mediocre.

Every time we make a mistake, we must respond with a tranquil spirit of gratitude for the lessons we learned and the impending opportunity to try again. Why not begin to see failure and mistakes from a different perspective? Those who never stop progressing view problems and mistakes as teachers; sometimes they may seem harsh and cause us pain, but their lessons are invaluable. Those who fear making mistakes never choose the hard road—the challenging road of excellence.

So we must continue responding with courage and tenacity when obstacles arise and mistakes abound. Sheba’s queen did not believe all she had heard concerning Israel’s King Solomon—the wisdom of his
words, the house he built, the meat on his table, or the apparel of his servants. She made a grave error in thought and judgment. But the Bible eloquently states that after she saw and experienced everything
in Solomon’s kingdom, she praised his prosperity, and his God, then rose again to her caravan, heading toward home. How she grew by that one fantastic visit! We were created to grow, so let’s not give up,
shut up, or let up until He takes us up.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that although I may fall seven times, I will rise again to serve You. I focus on this one thing: forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.

Building A Heart Of Love Vol. One - CD

5 CDs

I John 4:16 says, “God is love…” – and when we walk in Him we will walk in love (Ephesians 5:1-2). But if walking in love was that easy, we would all get along famously! So, how do we walk this “love walk?” How do we love? Who do we love? And, most importantly…what does God think about love?

In this first volume, Dr. Robb Thompson examines God’s definition of love. You will discover that God expresses love in actions, rather than words – rather than saying, “I love you,” God shows us through His deeds. Looking to Jesus as the ultimate example of love, you will discover how to “build a heart of love” and, therefore, have the heart of God in every situation you encounter.

Action Is The Missing Ingredient To A Lifetime Filled With Productivity

“…but the message they heard did not benefit them,
because it was not mixed with faith…”

Hebrews 4:2 (AMP)

MARCH 24 - Strategically placed against the serenity of the emerald blue Mediterranean Sea, like a sapphire adhered to its setting, the tiny area of Palestine is even today desired for the robustly productive territory
it contains. Known as the land of “milk and honey” in Old Testament times, distinctive crops and indigenous plants such as black cumin, coriander, anise, cassia, and pomegranate make their home in the rich
soil of modern Israel. When this soil is actively cultivated, delicious goods are produced.

All of us know how important it is to make our works count, and to make certain that what we say actually happens. If we relentlessly hear about God’s Word and never act upon it, then nothing will happen for us. But we must stir the Word of God into our daily habits, as if combining tender Palestinian seasonings into a fantastic dish.
Blending it into our home life as well, it will wonderfully produce. As
we daily act on God’s Word, we experience productivity.

Develop an ability to act; you don’t need to rush, but neither should your time be squandered. Act when the instruction is fresh. There are many who intend to take action, but wait too long and the passion to produce dwindles away like seeds in the wind. Take action today on whatever you have procrastinated. Remember, faith is acting on the Word of God.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I am a person of faith. I mix action with what I hear from Your Word. I walk by what You say, and not by what I believe.

Pain Is The Signal Directing Traffic On The Road To Progress

“So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves
with the same attitude He had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you are
willing to suffer for Christ, you have decided to stop sinning.”
1 Peter 4:1 (NLT)

FEBRUARY 15 - The saying, “No pain, no gain,” has proved true throughout time. In health, wealth, knowledge, and personal development, many attempt success without paying a price. God never promised us an easy road to attain His will for our lives; in fact, His presence creates (and actually stimulates) the pain of pronounced growth. Remember, the Father prunes those who bear fruit so they might bear more.

The apostle Paul tells us, “I harden my body with blows and bring it under complete control…” That doesn’t sound pain-free to me. If there was anyone who knew about pain, Paul did. Although he served the Lord and walked a life of obedience, pain was not absent from his life.

Are you aware that pain and peace often securely join hands? The peace surpassing all understanding flows from our spirit, though we may have physical or emotional pain. When everything seems to go wrong, God’s peace causes us to see our situation through the omniscient eyes of Heaven. Growing pains are inevitable. But we must choose to embrace pain, arming ourselves with the refining effect it has on us. Our reward is worth any pain we must presently endure.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I arm myself with the same attitude Christ had, and I am ready to suffer. I work diligently to attain what You desire for me.

Progress Is Haulted The Moment You Open The Door To Wrong Decisions

“He who walks with wise men will be wise,
but the companion of fools will be destroyed.”

Proverbs 13:20 (NKJV)

JANUARY 24 - Have you ever stopped to consider how lightning is made? The negatively charged water of a thundercloud fatefully meets positively charged atoms in the air, forming a path between the cloud and the ground. Billions of negative charges rush down this path, meeting positive upward charges that potently heat the air, resulting in the superheated glow called lightning. When lightning occurs, it may be fascinating, but unfortunately, it is often fatal.

In the same way, we are exactly like those with whom we associate. There are no greater limitations placed upon an individual than those brought about by negative relationships. When God wants to bless you, He sends a person into your life. When Satan wants to destroy you, he too sends a person into your life.  therefore, it is vital to have guidelines to enter into relationship with others. Not everyone is called to be our friend. If there are specific qualifications to enter into relationship with Jesus, shouldn’t we hold the same requirements for our relationships with people?

To have positive relations with others, we must become the person we want to attract. If we attract the disrespectful and those who negatively walk in sin, we must take a closer look at ourselves and see what we need to change. Become principally based; stand mightily for principle and keep yourself safe from those the enemy sends. The moment others begin to walk by the same principles is when they walk with us. Two are better than one (two positives that is), for two have a greater reward for their labor than just one.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I walk with wise men, and so I will be wise.
I progress in life because I choose to spend my time with those who pursue You.

Progress Is Guaranteed The Moment You Commit Your Life Into The Hands of God

“Commit your work to the Lord, and then your plans will succeed.”
Proverbs 16:3 (NLT)

“And my blessings are for Gentiles, too, when they commit themselves to the Lord.”
Isaiah 56:3 (NLT)

JANUARY 4 - No one desires to go through life without making significant progress. God placed within every person a craving to succeed. All of us want to get better, do more, and help others achieve their dreams. Those desires are given to us by God. Nevertheless, progress is only guaranteed to those who choose to commit their lives to Him, having cut, scraped, and eroded away the very core of their old lives.

It is only a matter of time before we see those who have yet to commit their lives to God cry out for help. Although they may have all the possessions one could want, their internal lives are in shambles, crumbling away into particles of raw dust. God always begins on the inside before He ever manifests on the outside. True progress is when one commits his life and plans to the Lord, allowing Him to guide and lead his steps. As we commit our work to the Lord, our plans succeed.

Why not choose today to give God not part, but your entire life? He deserves it. God desires to make you and I great; all He requests is our compliance! When presented with the possibility of losing everything he had worked for so tirelessly, John the Baptist said, “I must decrease and He must increase.” That means that the more we pursue God, the less we desire the pleasurable things this world has to offer, thereby causing great progress to be made.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I commit my life and my work to You,
and You cause my plans to succeed. I receive the blessings You have
for me because I commit my life to You.
