Love Is Not What You Say; Love Is What It Cost You To Say It

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 (NKJV)

JUNE 10 - Fully aware of the consequences, Mary candidly realized that her perceived unfaithfulness following her betrothal to Joseph was considered adultery by the Jews. Therefore, Joseph had two options: expose her by trial before a court, or file for a certificate of divorcement. But long before, conscious of what it might cost her, Mary simply stated, “…be it unto me according to Thy Word.” In other words, Mary said that she would believe and obey exactly what was told to her, even though it seemed utterly illogical and physically impossible.

What are you willing to do to show God just how much you love Him? Don’t talk about it any longer; prove it through a seed of time, commitment, and obedience. Look what Jesus said about the Pharisees, “These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.” He also tells us, “Why do you call Me Lord and not do the things I tell you?”

Obedience is the only thing God truly requires of you. He is a faithful and loving God, but few are quick to obey His instructions. Sometimes what God tells you may seem illogical or even ridiculous, just as it did in Mary’s life. It may, at times, even keep you from getting something you desire. But only when you obey Him without hesitation does your obedience fill Heaven’s streets with a divinely effervescent aroma.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that You loved the world so much that You gave Your only Son so that I may live eternally with You.

Stronger Everyday - Confession CD

Dear Ladies,

In the times we live in, the temptation for us is to become weaker in most areas of life. Pressure to compromise is coming from every direction. God’s Word encourages us to stand and be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Philippians tells us to press toward God’s mark. The Proverbs 31 woman is energetic and strong. Now is not the time to grow weary in well-doing.

Our strength is from the Lord. As you listen to and confess these scriptures you will be empowered with strength and able to face the pressures that come your way.

My prayer is that you grow STRONGER EVERY DAY.

Enjoy,
Linda Thompson

Doubt Is The Enemy Assigned To Throw Off God’s Timing

“That you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
Hebrews 6:12 (NAS)

MAY 20 - A boasting serpent with long, twisting fangs; a whimsical creature of bright, dazzling colors; or a lying, slimy snake who bends about branches as easily as the wind; however he materializes inside your mind, our foe is adorned in a most deceitful costume called DOUBT. From the beginning of time, Satan has attempted to convince us that God is not going to come through for us. Remember, God told us what was going to happen, He just never told us when.

God’s timing is the right time no matter when it is. We live in a world that is governed beneath the economy of evil, but God gave us the power and authority to live above the world’s system. He gave us His Word so we can walk by faith, and not by sight. If Satan can keep us walking by what we see, he will destroy us. But, if we stay in the realm of faith, we can thwart all of his diabolical strategies.

The Scriptures tell us in Matthew 11:12, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force.” That is exactly what we must do. The reason we are called to seize God’s Kingdom by force is because Satan attempts to snatch it right from our fingers this very moment.

The enemy tries to stop anyone from experiencing the promises of God. He puts up roadblocks, sends every demon, and ruthlessly lies to you every day about how God is not going to keep His Word. We must stand strong (as stalwartly as Jesus did) and continue to press, knowing that God is faithful to His Word. Through faith and patience, we will receive what is promised.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I am full of faith and patience. I receive what is promised, for You are not slack concerning Your promise.

Your Seed Is The Passport Into The Future

“Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.”
2 Corinthians 9:6 (NLT)

MAY 1 - You can only act according to what you know. The Word of God plainly tells us, “God’s people perish for lack of knowledge…” Many in the body of Christ have been taught that it is wrong to expect a harvest from an offering given to God. To fervently expect something is not greed; it is stable proof that we believe God’s Word. In 2 Corinthians 9:6, God said, “…but the one who plants generously will get a generous
crop.” Those who do not expect a harvest do not understand this Scripture.

In everything we do, we expect a return; but the moment someone talks about money, we no longer feel it is appropriate to eagerly expect a return. When the Israeli soldiers fought, they fervently expected victory.

Remember, God’s greatest pleasure is to be believed. His greatest pain is to be doubted. You see with almost every instruction, God subsequently follows it with a promise. Why? Because He created us to be
reward oriented, understanding our intrinsic desire to excel, our intense desire to produce, and our natural desire for more. He put that yearning within us, and gave us the process through the seed, so that we might always attain the desires of our hearts.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I plant seed with an expectation of a harvest. I never live in need, because I have been given seed. I sow generously and I reap a generous harvest.

The Seed You Cast Upon The Waves Of Eternity Will Return Upon The Shores Of This Life

“Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.”
Ecclesiastes 11:1 (NKJV)

MARCH 30 - Faith and patience are key factors in the process of sowing seed. Anyone who has been a giver for any length of time understands there is a vital season of waiting between every seed sown and every harvest grown. Notice the scripture above states, “…it will come back to you after many days.” There is a season of time between when we sow our seed, and when we reap a harvest.

One’s unwillingness to wait patiently has aborted the harvest of countless seeds. You must be willing to trust God through the seasons of waiting. Israel’s shepherds had a choice—they could either sow superior
seeds with their neighbors by being careful where their flocks grazed, or they could sow unfavorable seeds by allowing their animals to roam freely upon other people’s properties, instead of waiting for suitable lands. Their peers viewed those who were impatient as dishonest.

Impatience weakens our faith to the point where we begin to entertain thoughts that sowing doesn’t work. We must keep up our faith, remain patient, and decisively obey the laws of God concerning sowing and reaping…then our harvest is assured. Friends, never grow weary, for in due time, you shall receive your overflowing harvest.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I am a giver. I know that with the measure I give, my harvest will be given back to me; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing shall men give unto my bosom.
