The Life You Life Will Be Determined By The People You Embrace

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:32 (KJV)

APRIL 16 - “That’s it…a little harder now. I know your hands are getting scratched but…just pull a little harder, a little more, and up you go… hey, you made it!” Truth is like that long, dangling rope. All you need
to do is take both hands and firmly grip your fingers around the bottom end of it and you can make your way to every other truth up the line. And each of us has that rope dangling within our easy grasp. The
only disparity is our willingness to grab on tightly, and to climb up boldly to higher truths. But:

• Will you exert the effort it takes to climb?
• Will you endure the inevitable burns of the rough rope?
• Will you cling to truth and keep climbing once you go far higher than you ever thought possible?

There is a common misconception that if I know something, then that means I do it. For example, think of a few Scriptures you have memorized. Now, ask yourself (be honest!): How well do I actually walk in the truths of those verses?

We all have places where we can grow in our understanding of truth, and most of us can start right where we are, putting into action the Word we already know. In doing so, we’ll discover what real freedom is. Don’t think it necessary to run and find the latest, biggest, most exciting truth. Just start where you are right this moment, doing exactly what you know to do.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You for giving me Your Word. I continue in Your Word and I know the truth and the truth makes me free.

Failures Focus On The Pain Of Their Present While Winners Focus On The Pleasure Of The Future

“While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things
which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary,
but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

2 Corinthians 4:18 (NKJV)

MARCH 25 - It happens every year, doesn’t it? Whether it’s the winter’s first few inches of slushy snow, the tiniest threat of a brewing hurricane, or the slightest possibility of any perceived shortage; just as soon as the rumor hits the airwaves, what usually happens? You guessed it—the supermarkets are flooded with people, anxiety-driven folks who must charge out for milk and eggs, even though many of them have two refrigerators completely filled with food. Friends, we have to stop panicking! If we are going to believe God, then let’s act like it! Care, anxiety, and heart-stopping fear indicate that we lost sight of God’s promises. But how do we become fully persuaded, once and for all? Romans 10:17 says tells us that “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

To find a place of peace and overcome the worries in life, we must realize that everything externally functions precisely according to what we believe internally. Unless we are meditating on God’s Word, the outcome of our lives won’t be very appealing. Neither prayer nor any other activity can override the turmoil  created by neglecting the meditation of God’s Word. We must install God’s Word into our conscious and subconscious minds (with as much desire as when loading our favorite DVD), before we can walk in the peace that passes all understanding, creating an unwavering scarcity of anxiety and fear for the  remainder of our lives.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that Your Word is eternal and unchanging. I am a champion, and I focus on the dream of my future.

Put It On: Women’s Conference 2007 - CD

The “Put It On” Women’s Conference contains the exciting ministry of the Family Harvest Church pastors’ wives from all over the United States! With colorful diversity, engaging humor, and refreshing honesty, these anointed women of God encourage you to not only dress stylishly on the outside, but to also put on the garments of Godly character.

The Bible tells us to “put on” several important things, including garments of praise, the new man, the armor of God, incorruption, immortality, tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, and long-suffering. A woman who clothes herself in these garments becomes exceedingly beautiful to her Bridegroom, Jesus (as well as to everyone around her)!

The teachings of this conference encourage you to give as much attention (maybe even more!) to dressing up the inside as you do to the outside. “Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised” (Proverbs 31:30, NLT).

You’re Future Is Only As Bright As The Future You Embrace

“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.”
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (NKJV)

MARCH 1 - They all qualified—but only a handful served. All males were deemed competent to serve as judges in civil matters, but only priests, Levites, and Israelites of principle—those with spotless character and ancestry—were eligible to judge a criminal case. Christianity eagerly embraces the person of Christ, but ruefully neglects His principles. The person of Jesus creates your peace; His principles create your productivity. Both are as necessary as soil and seed!

People greatly aspire to prosper, but why are so few willing to accurately apply God’s principles to their lives? Our willingness to do what God says is the key to experiencing what God promises.

God never promised you something without first giving you an instruction. Always rewarding the obedient, He never hands out random promises and rewards like candy at a parade. God is selective in whom He blesses. And you and I determine whether or not God blesses us.

The qualifications of Israel’s judges were simple yet distinctive — thorough knowledge of the Law and an ethical lifestyle. Therefore, this principle stands historically correct: Your future is only as bright as the principles you embrace. Apply His principles today and watch God move on your behalf.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I diligently obey Your Word and observe Your commandments. Your blessings come upon me and overtake me because I choose to obey You.

Your Mind Is The Key That Unlocks The Door To Your Future

“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)

JANUARY 18 - We often embrace the faulty impression that the men and women of God we read about in the Bible were not human like us, and that they didn’t go through the same experiences and emotions we do. How would you like to be the one who replaced Moses, the great prophet and national deliverer, like Joshua did? It is guaranteed that Satan came immediately to notify Joshua how he was going to miserably fail. What Satan did yesterday, he does today. He lies! Joshua was petrified. Satan armed himself with brutally negative thoughts the moment God gave Joshua the assignment.

He probably told Joshua how he could not do what God asked, and questioned why God chose him. These are the same things he tells you and me. God said to Joshua (and He says to us), “My thoughts must be continually in your mouth. You must meditate upon them day and night in order to overcome the lies and the fears that the evil one brings your way.” If we follow this formula of success, we overcome insurmountable odds.

Our mind is actually the power plant of our future, capable of generating blessings and success. Even as a youngster, Jesus’ mind was continuously upon progress, growing in favor with God and man. The thoughts we think today progress into a distinct reality tomorrow. But we must stay long enough under God’s Word to be transformed into the man or woman God called us to be.

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that I meditate upon Your Word and speak it aloud
continually. Because I am a doer of Your Word, I am blessed in my deeds.
