What You Experience Today Are Little More Than Thoughts Yesterday

“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)

NOVEMBER 19 - The range of voices and the gallery of thoughts that enter your mind are seeds. You have a choice over which seeds get planted, and which get rejected. Your heart becomes the fertile soil where those
seeds are planted. When planted, those seeds mature and produce fruit in your life.

There is no way to avoid this process of “heart germination,” for the Bible tells us in Proverbs 4:23 that this is how God designed the human heart to function. “Keep [manage, tend, protect, safeguard, watch over,
preserve, chaperon, care for, be a good steward over] your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” The only way to assure good outcomes in your life is to plant good seeds in your heart.
When I was going through a difficult time in my life, it was because early in my childhood, bad seeds were planted in my heart, grew up, and produced bad fruit. Destructive thought-seeds take root and begin
to grow because you choose to believe them. Erroneously, you begin to believe that what they say is the truth. You begin to believe evil about yourself. However, it is important to realize that any thought left
unchallenged is established as fact.

Why not deposit an abundant crop of good seeds into your heart today, so that you too create a bountiful future?

Father, I thank You that my heart is the soil where my thoughts become seeds that create my future.

You Are Healed - Book

From God’s perspective, health is not something that we lack and must try to attain. Rather, it is a possession that is already ours – but the thief is trying to steal it!

Jesus went to the cross to deliver us, once and for all, from the curse of sickness and disease. So, why does divine healing often seem to be so elusive? It’s because the only proof we have of our healing, until it is manifested, is the written Word of God.

Nevertheless, God’s Word is all the proof we need! Dr. Thompson shows you how to apply the principles of God’s Word to your life, until you experience the divine health in which God intends you to walk. This book equips you with the spiritual prescription needed to attain health, wholeness, and vitality in your body.

It Is Not What Has Been Done To You That Determines The Outcome Of Your Life But How You Respond To Injustice

“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him,
because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and
for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.”

1 Samuel 30:6 (KJV)

MARCH 26 - The Hebrew farmer’s preparations did not always go according to plan. Wind, hail, mildew, hot desert winds, or invasion by locusts, cankerworms, and caterpillars may have devastated his crops. When
this happened, did that farmer give up and curse God? When life doesn’t go the way you planned, step back. How can you righteously respond to the situation?

Remember, you are in charge of your attitude, so you cannot blame your response on anyone or anything but yourself. Understanding why you feel the way you do can relieve a lot of your frustration. Filter your
emotions through God’s Word. Find out how Jesus would respond. What would He do in your situation?

Attitude is not based on circumstances or people. It’s all about how we choose to respond! A wife cannot blame her depression on the way her husband treats her. An employee can’t blame his bad attitude on the boss. When his crops failed, the Hebrew farmer always had another season in which to plant, a divine opportunity to start all over again. There’s always something positive to focus upon—discover it, and you are on your way to a great future!

Daily Confession

Father, I thank You that as David encouraged himself in You, so I encourage myself in You. I understand what is done to me does not seal the fate of my life, but how I respond to injustice determines my destiny.

Put It On: Women’s Conference 2007 - CD

The “Put It On” Women’s Conference contains the exciting ministry of the Family Harvest Church pastors’ wives from all over the United States! With colorful diversity, engaging humor, and refreshing honesty, these anointed women of God encourage you to not only dress stylishly on the outside, but to also put on the garments of Godly character.

The Bible tells us to “put on” several important things, including garments of praise, the new man, the armor of God, incorruption, immortality, tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, and long-suffering. A woman who clothes herself in these garments becomes exceedingly beautiful to her Bridegroom, Jesus (as well as to everyone around her)!

The teachings of this conference encourage you to give as much attention (maybe even more!) to dressing up the inside as you do to the outside. “Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised” (Proverbs 31:30, NLT).
